NTT DOCOMO USA has started providing Cellular Phone Purchase Service for Japanese speaking customers in the United States.
DoCoMo will act as an intermediary in providing one-stop contract and customer support in Japanese for a U.S. cellular service carrier. Terminals include a high-end Blackberry and a wide variety of plans are available.
Namimail option allows direct Japanese transmission without web-based mail.
DoCoMo USA service has been targeting mostly B-to-B clients and its website has reflected that clean-cut image to suit it. However, the new service is meant for general consumers, particularly the Japanese customers, so we employed a design that is softer and friendlier. Advertising copy also emphasizes the clear description to guide the users with web marketing on mind.
