Yuko Nohara|President/Lead Visual Artist

Yuko started her career as an illustrator working for large clients such as Panasonic, Shiseido, Magazine House and Clarins. In 1993, she acted as Visual Director for the Shiseido Concept Store in Yokohama and also as Ad Director for Clarins for three years. In 2000, she joined the team at an US emerging company as the Interface Designer and Programmer for international web projects where she was responsible for developing ASP services. Yuko currently works as the lead visual artist for Nimbus Works overseeing the aesthetic quality of each project. She is an internationally-renowned painter who has been invited to exhibit her work at the Tolkien Society show in Birmingham, England and the Fantasy Art Convention in Glasgow, Scotland. A member of New York Art Directors Club and the Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists, Yuko holds Bachelor of Computer Science from Chiyoda Institute of Art and Technology, Japan.

Ayumi T. Somers|Director, Research & Consulting Services

Ayumi started her career as an interpreter for international conferences and corporate meetings while still at university. Upon graduation, she joined Seibu Saizon Group which sponsored multi-national joint projects teaming with American, Canadian and British companies for theme park entertainment attractions featuring ultra-sophisticated flight motion simulators installed in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe. She acted as assistant project manager at these construction sites and also played an integral role in sales and marketing development. Ayumi also worked in the field of pharmaceutical marketing and finances at P&G Far East, Inc. and GlaxoWellcome Japan, where she worked as an assistant to the President. From 1999 to 2007, she served as Vice President at Xebex America, Inc., a consulting firm focused on researching IT, software, wireless, distribution systems, and networking equipment. She developed overall strategy and directed the firm’s efforts by providing potential investors with targeted company and industry research, financial performance analysis and due diligence services. In 2007, Ayumi joined Nimbus Works as Director of Research and Consulting Services where she oversees research projects and development of strategic planning for companies aiming to enter Asian markets. She holds a BA in Law from Kobe University, Japan and an MBA from the College of William and Mary, Virginia.

Megumi Yamada|Director, Creative Services

Megumi started her career as a graphic designer at Sony Music Entertainment where she created everything from package designs to promotional materials for musicians with Atlantic Records, EMI, and Warner Music Japan. At the dawn of Internet Era, she was the lead developer in multinational web designs for major clients such as Nikkei, Marubeni, Casio, Japan Airlines, Air France and the Tahiti Tourist Office. In 1996, having spent years at top-rated design and advertisement firms covering multiple media – web, print, direct marketing, and radio – she opened her own creative design office. With her outstanding reputation as a designer able to capture the essence and nuances of different cultural backgrounds, she was invited to join an emerging IT company in the US as Director of Art and Information Design. Since then, Megumi has worked in New York City area and currently serves as the Director of Creative Designs at Nimbus Works. She also contributes articles to several art industry magazines. Her works have been highly recognized internationally: awards include the Nika Exhibition Japan and the Franco-Japon Hall Poster Biennale, with many of her works included in major international designers’ annual directory publications. She holds BS from Tokyo Design Academy.
